Versatile Mexican Food - there are more options than you might think

It is claimed that Mexico has the broadest and most varied cuisine in the world after China, which could be a shock to the Mexican fast food demons they thought that the burritos and tacos were the only types of food eaten by Mexicans. Each area of Mexico has its own recipes and the rate of Yucatan is particularly tasty, with its Caribbean, Mexico, Mayan influences and Lebanese recipes.

Some Mexican dishes are spicy, but not all. Hot peppers are widely used in Mexican cuisine and there are many variations of them, including pasilla, habanero, serrano, poblano, and jalapeo. Mexicans like to vary their diets by eating meat, fish, poultry, seafood, fruits, vegetables and grains, or at least those who can afford it. Stews, soups and sauces are common in Mexico foods and cooking methods are baking, frying and roasting slowly.

Mexicans prefer fresh produce and more than two days old is no longer considered optimal freshness. Pesticides and herbicides are not used much because they are expensive and vegetables and fruits are collected when ripe or nearly ripe.Products of the season is preferable to imported food and almost everything that is grown locally. The exception to this is in Mexico City, where goods, which is not likely to be sold and exported.

What is a typical Mexican food anyway?

Tortillas are a staple both of Mexico that the government-controlled price and stays at five pesos a kilo! A tortilla is a dumpling, or corn dough that is flattened into a thin disc. They are traditionally made from corn and supermarkets made fresh all day. Tortillas are used to make traditional Mexican tacos. Authentic tacos are soft, unlike the rigid U-shaped variety of Taco Bell.

Tortillas, tacos, tamales and are made from corn. Many stews and soups using grains such as lentils, beans and kidney beans. Tomatoes are used in a large number of recipes, recipes, especially the sauce.

The fruit is very popular in Mexico and is eaten fresh or used in desserts and sauces. Papaya, coconut, mango and pineapple are all favorites. Nopales, which are spiny cactus paddles, are fried and eaten as a vegetable. You can also get the sweetened and used in Mexican dessert recipes.

Condiments and Sauces Mexican People

Many people add lime, sour cream, salsa or Mexican food. You will also have condiment dish served to you in a traditional Mexican restaurant. These include the chopped onion, cilantro, lemon, hot sauce, a mild chile sauce and salsa. Mexican Sauce is made with chopped fresh tomato, onion, habanero peppers, and cilantro. We could also see a charred green onion, Worcestershire sauce (known in Mexico as Castilian sauce) and lime juice dipping. Guacamole is often served too.

Many Mexican food recipes are rich in flavor and color and the use of fresh produce is important. Many people make the mistake of fast food Mexican and Tex Mex style Mexican cooking for real, traditional Mexican food, but authentic Mexican cuisine is a delight.
